About Vacation Beach:

(Under construction and waiting for inquiries to be returned - if you know any more information I would love to add it here)

Angelo Genelly, born in July 11, 1863 in Switzerland and his wife, Clara Etta Gardner Genelly (married in 1906, divorced before 1919) owned most of Vacation Beach and Vacation Beach Resort. Random fact: he applied for a patent on a bike pump on April 2, 1902 (US849227A). He died  Dec 2, 1944 but his family continued to live in the area.

The main road to Vacation Beach, Neeley Road, was named after pioneer Keith James Neeley was born in about 1886. They ran Neeley's Department Store for 40 years until 1986.
